Éco-Réno is an organization specializing in the reuse and resale of new and used materials and old architectural components: wood, doors, windows, clawfoot baths, sinks, hardware, faucets, moldings, woodwork, mirrors, hardwood floors, cabinets, light fixtures, etc. It is one of Quebec’s jewels in the preservation of built heritage and one of the few companies specializing in the social, solidarity, ecological and circular economy of materials.
The Éco-Réno team is made up of dynamic and talented people. The new director, Sylvain Lessard, has been in the retail business for 30 years and has the mission of leading our expansion. Ève Champagne is the supply coordinator, and admirably manages the donations of materials of all sizes. Louis-Frédérik and Maïté are always ready to serve you, with good advice. A valued group of volunteers also supports our activities.
Éco-Réno was founded in 2002 by the Société de développement environnemental de Rosemont (SODER), an organization that has developed dozens of environmental projects of a solidarity nature. In the context of the pandemic and in the absence of succession, the board and management of Éco-Réno passed the torch to Architecture Sans Frontières Québec (ASFQ). Since 2020, the company is now affiliated with ASFQ, as a partner in the development of a large materials reuse center in Montreal.
Éco-Réno is a strategic and operational partner of Architecture Sans Frontières Québec. Éco-Réno is a non-profit organization that manages the donations and sales of materials received by ASFQ, a recognized charitable organization. This explains why buyers do not pay any tax on their purchases and donors receive a charitable receipt for each donation of a value of $500 or more. The money raised is entirely dedicated to support the humanitarian activities of ASFQ.
